Cheryl Dickey McGuire is a Private Wealth Advisor that works one-on-one with individual clients and small business owners to develop optimal financial, investment, and tax planning strategies. With a focus on integrity and a long-term commitment to providing clients with sound financial guidance, Cheryl’s comprehensive investment approach is centered around identifying the client’s investment goals, and assessing risk parameters in line with their specific risk tolerance. Through an extensive discussion process, she learns what the client's goals and concerns are; helps the client prioritize their objectives; provides strategies; and helps her clients implement a plan to meet goals and mitigate concerns. Her intention is to determine how she can add value to the client's situation, with a particular focus on tax-wise investment strategies and solutions. Ultimately, the client should have a plan and course of action that brings him or her financial confidence.
Prior to forming Alliance Wealth Advisors, LLC, her professional career included not only developing and training new advisor representatives since 2008, but also eight prior years as the Chief Financial Officer /Chief Operating Officer for a private medical and surgical facility. This additional specialized experience gives her the unique ability to add healthcare planning as an important component of retirement planning.
Cheryl holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics. Her strong commitment to give back to her community is demonstrated through her volunteer activities. Since 1993, Cheryl has volunteered her time to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In the mid- 1990’s, she volunteered with Starlight Children’s Foundation granting wishes to seriously ill children. Additionally, since 1986, she has enjoyed teaching soccer and basketball skills as a children’s coach. She is also passionate about traveling, diving, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
